1997 Riviera 39 Platinum designed by Bill Barry-Cotter. This Riv 39 was subject to a serious open chequebook refurb with receipts totalling $150,000 in 2016.
Extremely tidy example of the much loved 39 Platinum with CAT 3116 350HP engines that have had major overhauls, the hard work is done! Dual helm stations make handling the boat short-staffed very easy. The 39 was the precurser to the hugely popular Riv 40 and shares a similar layout to its younger sibling. It boasts plenty of accommodation for a large family, with a master cabin forward sporting an island bed, the second cabin comprises of three single bunks and the dinette converts to a huge double.
The saloon is simply impressive. A large dinette sofa can comfortably seat 6 adults, with plenty of room in the galley for preparing meals. The lovely teak-laid cockpit was recently refurbished and it looks the part. A huge amount was spent installing high end Furuno navigation equipment and fully enclosed storm covers to the cockpit.
This Riv 39 is a large volume boat and is hard to find similar vessels packaged under 12m with this much space.
